1. Who we are

GotThatSorted (the "Service") is run by TWMA Ltd ("we", "us", "our"), registered in England and Wales, company number 06754471. Registered office: St Vincent House, 30 Orange Street, London, WC2H 7HF. Contact: info@gotthatsorted.com.

2. Agreeing to these terms

By using this website, installing or using the plugin, or buying a Pro licence, you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. If you use it for a business, you confirm you have authority to accept these terms for that business. You must be at least 16 years old.

3. What these terms cover

• this website (www.gotthatsorted.com);
• the GotThatSorted plugin for WordPress, in its free and Pro forms, and its updates; and
• Pro licence keys and the subscriptions behind them.

The GotThatSorted web app at www.gotthatsorted.com/app/ is also governed by its own Terms of Use, Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. If the two conflict for the web app, the web app terms apply.

4. Using this website

You may browse this website and download the plugin for your own lawful use. We try to keep the website accurate and available, but we may change, suspend or remove any part of it at any time without notice.

5. The plugin

• The plugin is a weekly task board that runs inside your own WordPress site. You are responsible for your site, its hosting, backups and security.
• The free version is provided free of charge. Features marked Pro need an active Pro licence.
• The plugin checks for updates and, if you use a Pro licence, checks that your licence is active. See our Privacy Policy for what is sent.
• We may release updates, change features or stop supporting old versions. Keeping the plugin up to date is your responsibility.
• The plugin is licensed to you, not sold. You may install and use it on websites you own or manage, under these terms. We keep all other rights, and you may not copy, modify for redistribution, resell or share the plugin or its code except as the law allows.

6. Pro licences and payment

• Pro is a subscription. The price and billing period are shown before you pay and are charged through Stripe until you cancel.
• After your first payment we email a licence key to the address you gave. Keep it private. A key is for your own use.
• You can cancel at any time. Your Pro features continue until the end of the period you have paid for, and then stop. We do not refund part-used periods, except as set out below.
• Refunds: you may ask for a refund by emailing us within 3 days of your first payment. After that, payments are non-refundable, and they are also non-refundable if we end your licence because you broke these terms.
• Nothing in these terms limits any right to a refund or to cancel that the law gives you and that cannot be excluded, including any statutory cancellation rights you have as a consumer where you live.
• We may change prices for future billing periods. We will tell you in advance, and you can cancel before the change takes effect.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to, and not to help anyone to:

• break the law or infringe anyone's rights;
• share, sell or publish a licence key, or use one in a way we have not permitted;
• probe, scan or test the security of the Service without our written permission, or interfere with or overload it;
• copy, reverse engineer, resell or build a competing service from the Service, except where the law allows;
• remove or disguise the Pro licence checks or any other limit we apply.

8. Your content and data

The tasks, notes and other information you enter into the plugin are stored in your own WordPress site's database, not by us. They remain yours and we do not have access to them. You are responsible for that content, for keeping backups, and for complying with data protection laws in how you use the plugin with other people's data. How we handle the personal data we do hold is set out in our Privacy Policy.

9. Third-party services

The Service relies on providers such as Stripe (payments), Google (Firebase), Cloudflare and Resend. Their services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for them. WordPress and your hosting are also third-party services that we do not control.

10. Intellectual property

The Service, its design, software, text and branding belong to TWMA Ltd or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. The GotThatSorted name and logo are our trademarks or branding and may not be used without our permission, except to accurately refer to the Service.

11. No warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We take reasonable care, but we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, that it will be compatible with every WordPress site, theme or plugin, or that it will meet your particular needs. Back up your site before installing or updating any plugin.

12. Limits on our liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any rights you have as a consumer that cannot be excluded.

Subject to that, and to the fullest extent permitted by law:

• we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, revenue, business, goodwill or anticipated savings, or loss or corruption of data; and
• our total liability to you for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and (b) GBP 100.

13. Suspension and ending

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or end your licence or access if you break these terms, if we need to for security or legal reasons, or if we stop offering the Service (in which case we will give reasonable notice and, where you have prepaid for a period we cannot honour, a fair refund for the unused part). Sections that by their nature should continue after ending, including those on intellectual property, warranties and liability, do so.

14. Changes

We may update these terms, for example to reflect changes to the Service or the law. We will change the "last updated" date above and, for material changes, tell you by email or on this site. If you keep using the Service after changes take effect, you accept them.

15. Governing law and disputes

These terms and any dispute arising from them or the Service are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have non-exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer living elsewhere, you also keep the benefit of any mandatory consumer protections of your home country.

16. General

• Entire agreement: these terms are the whole agreement between you and us about the Service.
• If part is unenforceable: the rest continues.
• No waiver: if we do not enforce a right straight away, we do not give it up.
• Transfer: you may not transfer your rights under these terms. We may transfer ours to a successor of the business.
• Events beyond our control: we are not responsible for delay or failure caused by events outside our reasonable control.
• Third parties: nobody else has a right to enforce these terms.
